Here’s how to fix the most common reason why ActiveSync stops working on the Blackberry. It is due to the password not matching up with their domain password.
When it comes time for end users to create a new password they often forget that you also have to do it on the phone. What makes this even more tricky or should I say less obvious is that there is no message saying that the password/username is invalid!
To change the password follow these steps:
- Triple Period in the Mail program
- Email Accounts
- Select the ActiveSync Exchange Account
- Edit Account
- Enter new password and hit save.
