Google trying too hard to be hip?

I logged out of Gmail today and noticed this (See screenshot)

I thought maybe I was in a different language format at first. Then I realized that all the vowels were missing! It reminded me of how all the 6th graders text. So my question is:

Is Google trying too hard to be hip?
