How to backup Dreamweaver CS4 Snippets

Windows

To backup Dreamweaver snippets just go to:

Windows (32 bit) Location

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS4\configuration\Snippets

Windows (64 bit) Location

C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS4\configuration\Snippets

Once you are in the location just copy the folders and save them to an external drive etc.

This is a screenshot from a Windows 7 64bit machine.

1. Hi, just wanted to point that the locations mentioned in this post are the default snippet locations. If you have customized snippets that you created yourself and you want to backup those to transfer them to another computer, they would not be in this location.

   Instead, you would find them in:

   C:\Users\John\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS4\en_US\Configuration\Snippets

   Make sure you replace John above with your own username.

2. just copy the snippets C:\Users\Madhupriya\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS5.5\en_US\Configuration\Snippets
