Stop Word from Opening Documents in Reading Mode

Disable Reading layout

You might be wondering how to stop outlook from opening attachments in “reading mode”. To do this you must:

1. Go into Word
2. Go to Tools-Options
3. Uncheck “Start with the reading layout”.

This will force all word documents not to start up in reading mode.
